The Michael Lord Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition: Dan Namingha: New Paintings and Sculptures. The public is invited to attend the opening artist reception on Friday, March 1, from 6 to 8 pm. The exhibition continues through March 31.
Also featured are works Dan Namingha's son's Michael and Arlo
Dan Namingha is a Native American painter and sculptor. His Tewa-Hopi heritage inspires his work which explores connections between the physical and spirit world and includes Hopi symbolism. Namingha has been showing professionally as an artist for over 40 years and had his first solo museum exhibition in 1977. His artwork exists in numerous museums and embassies as well as private collections throughout the world.
